Vessels operating without a fixed itinerary schedule or charter contract.
Inducement
The minimum quantity of cargo or freight required by a shipping line to make it worthwhile to call at a particular port of loading or discharge. This is called either an inducement cargo or inducement rate.
Laycan
Document issued by ship owner/operator to a shipper of cargo and acts as a receipt, evidence of contract, document of title and includes Terms and Conditions of Charter.
Bill of Lading
